Can Carsultation provide me assistance in purchasing cars from any manufacturer?

We can provide you with assistance in purchasing vehicles from almost any manufacturer. However, premium exotic brands such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, etc. will not be included in that list as we do not have extensive experience completing transactions from those manufacturers. A detailed list of manufacturers in which we can assist with is listed below.

Why should I choose Carsultation assist me with my car purchase?

Although Carsultation can be of value to each and every person who is in the market to buy and sell their vehicle, it is definitely possible to purchase a vehicle without our assistance. Carsultation offers their service to clients who value having a professional assisting them in the transaction to ensure that they are making a clear and informed decision, all while reducing any stress that may occur during the process. As Carsultation is an independent consulting company and does not report to any dealership or manufacturer, you can rest assured that any advice is purely for the your benefit.

Why do I need Carsultation when there is already a salesperson at the dealership?

All salespeople that you encounter at any dealership is employed by that dealership. In order for them to generate income on their paycheck, they need to generate income for the dealership. There will always be good salespersons and bad salespersons. A good salesperson will ensure that you are getting into the right vehicle while the bad salesperson will just recommend any vehicle at the dealership. Regardless good or bad, their goal is to just make a sale to earn commission. At Carsultation, we are an independent consulting company that only reports to our clients. We provide you with tailored advice based on our investigation to ensure that the vehicle or products purchased will benefit you, and not just the dealership.

Why do you request for a survey to be completed before I book with Carsultation?

The survey that is requested is for our client’s benefit. As every client’s situation is unique, the survey is requested to ensure that Carsultation has as much knowledge as possible to tailer our consultation process. The time to review each survey will not be calculated into the consultation time that you purchase. The surveys are reviewed behind the scenes so that we may be more efficient during the purchased consultation time.

Do I have to answer all these sensitive questions on the survey?

Of course not! Our survey is not intended to collect sensitive information. Any details you share with Carsultation will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Many questions are optional and are only in place to help us better understand your needs in the car-buying process to recommend the right services. Any unanswered questions can be addressed during the consultation. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

What happens if I book without completing a survey first?

Generally speaking, nothing serious will occur if you choose to book without completing a survey beforehand. This will just result in us having to take some time during your consultation to go over information that would have been otherwise disclosed in the survey, in order for us to better understand your suitation and tailor the consult. In rare cases, there may be situations where the vehicle you are interested in purchasing is simply not available due to market demand or supply chain delays. In these situations, we would only be able to provide you options of alternative vehicles, and/or suggestions on how to potentially acquire your desired vehicle.

Will you be able to get me the best deal if I choose the Purchasing Day Consultation?

The best deal when it comes to purchasing a vehicle, is the cost that clients are comfortable with. As every client places a different level of importance on variables such as model, trim, color, packages, features, etc., no two negotiations will ever be the same. Due to the fact that promotions from the dealership or manufacturer are subject to change at any time, it is near impossible to state that the negotiation will result in the lowest price possible. With that being said, Carsultation will have recommendations on when it may be the best time to pull the trigger for your purchase and also strive to get the ideal number that clients are aiming for.

Does Carsultation offer any free consultation?

Carsultation does not offer any free consultation at this time. We do take time to review any submitted surveys and tailor a personalized consultation for every client before they have even booked a session with us. We are also happy to answer any general questions or concerns you may have about Carsultation. Please contact us through telephone or email.

Can Carsultation help me buy a used vehicle?

All of our consultation options can assist you in purchasing a used vehicle from a dealership. The main difference between purchasing a new and used vehicle from a dealership is that the used vehicle will be unique and one of a kind. Depending on which vehicle, the dealership may stand firm on the price that they are requesting. Carsultation does not assist in person for purchasing vehicles from a private seller at this time. However, our remote consultation options may be assistance to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. How much more is the Travel Time Surcharge to book an In-Person or Dealership Consultation, if I do not live in Vancouver, Richmond, or Burnaby?

Travel time surcharge will be calculated on a case by case basis. Surcharge is determined by the amount of travel time required and distance outside of the city of Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby in which we normally operate. Do you offer different lengths of consultation besides what is on the Pricing page?

If there is a specific combination or length of consultation that you wish to book but is not available on our booking page, please reach out to us directly at info@carsultation.ca and we will do our best to tailor a consult specific to your request.

Can Carsultation help if I am considering switching from a gas vehicle to an EV?

Defintely! Our founder Brian was an early adopter to electric vehicles. He owned a Tesla for almost 6 years and knows the ins and outs of living with an electric vehicle. Whether you have questions or concerns about range, charging, battery degredation, or just simple owning an electric vehicle, we will be able to help. If you are looking to purchase a Tesla, we offer a Tesla Purchasing Consultation Package tailored to the process.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

To respect both our time and yours, we require 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a full charge for the session. Emergency exceptions may be considered at our discretion, but please notify us as soon as possible. No-shows will be charged the full service fee. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. 

Why does Carsultation not have an address listed?

As Carsultation can operate without a store front, we do not have a physical location in order to keep the overhead costs low. This allows us to keep our pricing competitive and offer more flexibility in terms of availability for our clients.
