The concept of Carsultation was created by Brian Ma, an immigrant from Hong Kong who was raised in Vancouver, BC Canada. From a very young age, he developed a love and passion for automobiles as his father worked as a manager in an automotive parts import export company. Following his passion, he first joined the automotive sector as a Sales Consultant for manufacturers such as Infiniti, BMW and Acura. He furthered his education and when the chance presented itself, he seized the opportunity to be promoted to a Business Office Manager where he assisted customers with their leasing and financing, signing of legal documents, as well as products to protect their new vehicle. 

However, the longer he remained in the industry, the more prevalent it became to him that he was not there to assist the customer, but to primarily generate as much sales for the dealership as possible. Realising this, he took a sabbatical from the automotive industry and made a horizontal shift to work as an automotive insurance broker and a claims adjuster for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, all while developing an approach on how to directly assist automotive customers.

With this being his ultimate goal, Carsultation was imagined and founded. Having extensive knowledge in all aspects of automotive sales, financing, and insurance, Brian has all the expertise to guide you from start to finish in a stress-free car purchasing experience.
